The skyline of Abidjan, Ivory Coast, will be transformed with the construction of Tower F, a skyscraper that will reach a height of 421 meters. This imposing building, designed by architect Pierre Fakhoury, will feature 75 floors and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, surpassing Egypt’s Iconic Tower and becoming the tallest in Africa.
The structure will incorporate an innovative double-skin façade made up of 16,000 glass panels. This design aims not only to maximize energy efficiency but also to reflect African cultural heritage, according to Fakhoury. The intention is for Tower F to house government offices and cultural venues, becoming a symbol of modernization and sustainability.
The project, led by the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Urban Development of Ivory Coast and executed by the Belgian company BESIX, aims to centralize public services in a single space. With a height that will exceed the Gran Torre Santiago in Chile by 121 meters, this colossus is poised to be an emblem of innovative design in the African region.
