A broad daylight attack has shocked the residents of Jesús María. Jasit Mery Sangama Fasabi, 47, was the victim of a hitman who pursued her and shot her multiple times inside her condominium, located on Avenida Brasil. Following the attack, the woman was immediately transported to the Stella Maris clinic with injuries to her face and leg, where her health status is reported as critical.
According to footage captured by a security camera, the woman was entering the building when the assailant, hooded and armed, began shooting at her point-blank range. The perpetrator quickly fled on a bicycle towards the district of Breña, leaving the victim lying on the ground. Serenazgo agents and National Police officers arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. The PNP cordoned off the area and has initiated investigations to determine the motives behind the attack and to identify the perpetrator. So far, the motive for the assault has not been established.
