Police Officer Arrested for Alleged Femicide of PNP Sub-Officer in Santa Anita

In the early hours of March 24, a serious incident in Santa Anita resulted in the death of third-class sub-officer Lisandra González García, 20 years old. The officer was found injured by a gunshot in a property located at 418 Las Palmeras Street, where she lived with her partner, sub-officer Felipe Mario Gutiérrez Arzapalo, who has been arrested as the main suspect. Gutiérrez, a member of the Los Halcones unit, was apprehended by the police following the incident. According to reports, the young woman was rushed to the National Hospital Hipólito Unanue but arrived without vital signs.

Witnesses at the scene reported that both officers had been living together for approximately two months. Colonel Gastón Alzamora, head of DIVISOP CENTRO, stated that the detained officer confessed to having shot González and mentioned that they had personal issues. The National Police of Peru, in a statement, confirmed that the case is being investigated as an alleged homicide and that forensic examinations, including a ballistic test, are being conducted to clarify the events.
