One week ahead of the elections scheduled for April 12, the latest survey from the Instituto de Estudios Peruanos (IEP) reveals that Keiko Fujimori leads with 10% of voter intention, although without a significant increase compared to previous months. In March, her support was at 9.4%, while in January it reached 8.1%. The candidate from Juntos por el Perú, Rafael López Aliaga, occupies the second place with 8.7%, marking his lowest figure after having led the polls in January and February with over 14%.

In third place, Carlos Álvarez from the Partido País para Todos has seen growth, reaching 6.9%, while Roberto Sánchez closely follows with 6.7%. Among voters, 48% have already made their choice and do not plan to change it. This number has increased compared to previous months, where only 56% were clear about their vote.

The survey also reveals that 70% of respondents chose a candidate when presented with the list of candidates. For more details on the electoral landscape, check our coverage on the elections and the presidential debate.
