The latest Ipsos polls have revealed a changing landscape in the presidential race. Keiko Fujimori, the candidate from Fuerza Popular, remains in first place with 11% of voter intention, while Rafael López Aliaga from Renovación Popular closely follows with 9%. Comedian Carlos Álvarez, representing País para Todos, has climbed to third place, increasing his support from 5% to 7%. This rise comes after the first round of debates organized by the National Jury of Elections (JNE), where Álvarez has managed to capture the electorate’s attention.
In fourth and fifth places are Jorge Nieto with 5% and Alfonso López Chau with 4%. The poll also indicates that 21% of voters would lean towards casting blank, null, or abstaining votes, with this trend being more significant in the north and east of the country.
This study was conducted in person between March 26 and 27, 2026, covering a total of 1,212 surveys across 24 departments and the Constitutional Province of Callao. The margin of error is ±2.8% with a 95% confidence level. For more details on voter intention, you can consult this report.
