Keiko Fujimori and Rafael López Aliaga Lead Voting Intentions; Four Candidates Tie for Third Place, According to Ipsos

A recent Ipsos survey reveals that candidates Keiko Fujimori (Fuerza Popular) and Rafael López Aliaga (Renovación Popular) are leading in voting intentions for the 2026 presidential elections. Fujimori stands at 11% and López Aliaga at 10%, both in a tight race. The survey, published in the newspaper Perú21, was conducted between March 21 and 22 and shows a four-way tie for third place. Alfonso López-Chau (Ahora Nación), Roberto Sánchez (Juntos por el Perú), Carlos Álvarez (País para Todos), and Jorge Nieto (Buen Gobierno) each register 5% in voting intentions. Following them, César Acuña (Alianza para el Progreso) has 3%. Additionally, candidates Yohny Lescano (Cooperación Popular), Mario Vizcarra (Perú Primero), José Luna (Podemos Perú), George Forsyth (Somos Perú), and Ricardo Belmont (Obras) are tied at 2%. The option for other candidates accumulates 10%, while 21% of voters would choose to vote blank, spoil their ballot, or not vote at all. The margin of error for the survey is +/- 2.8% and has a confidence level of 95%, with a sample size of 1,203 surveys conducted across 24 departments and the constitutional province of Callao.
