Iran Denounces US and Israel Attack on Its Nuclear Facility in Natanz

Iran has denounced an attack carried out by the United States and Israel against its nuclear facility in Natanz, specifically at the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan complex, where underground centrifuges for uranium enrichment are located. The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) described the attack as “contrary to international laws and commitments” in a statement. Despite the aggression, Iranian authorities assured that no leaks of radioactive materials have been reported and that nearby residents are not in danger.

This attack comes after massive offensives in February and bombings during the 2025 conflict. Meanwhile, the Israeli army denied having knowledge of the incident, while the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) faces difficulties in monitoring the affected facilities. In response to the tensions, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that attacks against Iran will intensify. This stance contradicts statements made by Donald Trump, who had indicated a possible reduction of military operations in the region.

The United Kingdom, for its part, has authorized the United States to use its bases to carry out attacks against Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz, which has sparked political controversy in London.
