Gremio of Brazil has decided to reject an offer from Atlanta United of MLS for the player Erick Noriega. According to Brazilian journalist Saimon Bianchini, the American club proposed $3.5 million, but Gremio has valued the player at $8 million.
Noriega, known as the ‘Samurai’, has stood out in recent matches for the Brazilian team, generating interest from other clubs. Despite the offer, Gremio considers Atlanta United’s proposal insufficient, as it does not approach the figure the club requires for negotiations.
Noriega’s contract with Gremio extends until the end of 2028, meaning any interested club will need to negotiate directly with Gremio to reach an agreement. In the meantime, the Peruvian continues to enjoy his good form in Brazilian football.
