The feminicide of a young sub-officer of the National Police of Peru has generated great concern in Santa Anita. The crime occurred in the couple’s home, located on Las Palmeras Street, in the Santa Rosa de Quives urbanization. The victim, identified as Lisandra González García (20), was shot in the head by her partner, Felipe Gutiérrez (23), who is also a sub-officer of the PNP. According to Colonel PNP Gastón Alzamora, the homicide took place following an argument between the two.
After committing the crime, Gutiérrez allegedly attempted to take his own life but was intervened by police officers who arrived at the scene. The National Police confirmed that a firearm belonging to him was seized. Authorities have opened an investigation for feminicide in favor of González García. The Public Ministry detailed that various proceedings are being carried out, including the lifting of the corpse and the collection of testimonies from family members and neighbors.
