The Integrity Program of the Superior Court of Justice of Sullana was recently approved, aiming to strengthen public ethics and risk management. Led by the court’s president, Yone Pedro Li Córdova, this program seeks to ensure transparency and access to information, as well as to protect whistleblowers from acts of corruption.
The Functional Integrity Unit will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the program’s activities, which will be developed in three phases. The first phase includes the signing of an “Institutional Integrity Commitment” and the development of a program that will be valid for one year. Li Córdova, as the integrity officer, emphasized the importance of this document in managing conflicts of interest within the judicial district.
This model aligns with the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Policy, established by Supreme Decree No. 092-2017-PCM, which aims to promote transparent institutions and prevent corruption with citizen participation.
