The president of the Superior Court of Justice of Sullana, Yone Pedro Li Córdova, participated in a meeting of the Unified Operational Coordination Command (CCO) in Piura, where strategies to improve citizen security in the region were discussed. The session, held at the headquarters of the Piura Police Region, included the presence of various local authorities and focused on the high crime rate in the province of Sullana.
During the meeting, it was announced that 200 non-commissioned officers from the Piura Police School will remain in the region to strengthen security efforts. Additionally, intelligence activities will be enhanced, and joint operations with the Armed Forces will be carried out, especially in the context of the upcoming electoral process.
The meeting was chaired by the head of the Police Region, PNP Daniel Jorge Jares Reyme, who emphasized the importance of collaboration among various institutions to combat crime. Also present were the mayor of Sullana, Marlem Mogollón, and the president of the Superior Prosecutors Board of Sullana, César Rodolfo Aguilar Cosme, along with other representatives from the judiciary and regional authorities.
