Pablo Villanueva, known as ‘Melcochita’, shared his grief in an interview with RPP, where he remembered the beloved comic actor as a brother. “We were together for many years. I don’t know what to say. I’m under a lot of stress. I can’t believe he’s dead because he was a true gentleman,” he expressed. Rojas, who passed away at the age of 63 on the night of March 27, was found dead in his vehicle in the Santa Catalina neighborhood of La Victoria. Villanueva recalled that they had recently recorded a salsa song together and had plans for a performance for Mother’s Day. “I spoke with him the day before yesterday. We were joking around. It seems incredible what happened to my brother,” he indicated.
