On Saturday, March 21, Stiven Franco made his long-awaited debut with the orchestra Armonía 10 at a concert held in Chiclayo. The young singer, just 17 years old, was introduced with great enthusiasm and received a standing ovation from the audience, marking a new chapter in his career following his departure from La Bella Luz. The event’s host highlighted the special moment for Franco, who, excited, fulfilled a childhood dream.
During his performance, the new member sang several songs, including ‘Quise morir’, ‘Mi vecina’, and ‘Lágrima por lágrima’, showcasing his confidence on stage and charisma that encouraged attendees to dance. Despite being the youngest in the group, Franco interacted with his fellow musicians and was well-received by his followers on social media, who see him as a promising talent in Peruvian cumbia.
However, his debut was not without controversy. Before the concert, the owner of La Bella Luz, Óscar Custodio, accused him of leaving the orchestra without honoring an existing contract. Franco, for his part, defended his decision, asserting that he had followed all necessary legal procedures for his departure.
