Techo Propio 2026: Who Can Apply and How to Access 14,880 State Bonuses

The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) announced the launch of the first call for the Techo Propio 2026 program, which offers 14,880 bonuses for the construction of homes on owned land. This initiative is part of efforts to close the housing gap in the country and is open until April 24. According to the Deputy Minister of Housing and Urbanism, Oswaldo Rojas Alvarado, the call is nationwide and aims to benefit families from vulnerable sectors.

The basic subsidy for construction is S/33,000, which can reach up to S/38,610 in regions where the cost of materials and labor is higher. Additionally, a special support of up to S/41,250 is available for families with members who have severe disabilities. To apply, families must meet certain criteria, such as having a registered property title, not having previously received housing bonuses, and demonstrating monthly income of up to S/2,706.

Applications are made through authorized entities, and the process is free of charge. The homes will have an approximate area of 35 m², with two bedrooms and a multi-purpose room, and their construction is scheduled to be completed within 120 days from the bonus allocation.
