In addition to his memorable performance in Back to the Future, Tolkan had notable roles in other films from the 1980s, such as WarGames (1983) and Top Gun (1986). A member of the Back to the Future production team fondly remembered the actor, commenting that he was very kind to fans and always took the time to take photos with them. “He called them ‘Slackers’, just like his character,” they shared.
