On the morning of March 24, an attempted murder in a condominium in Jesús María revealed the chilling confession of Christian Maurizio Cabrera Pizarro, known as Bolao. In an interview with General Víctor Revoredo, the hitman disclosed that he had been hired by José Luis Amasifuén to kill his ex-wife, in exchange for 2,000 soles. However, he only received 500 soles as the job did not materialize.
According to police investigations, the motivation behind the attack was a supposed debt and a family conflict. Bolao, 30 years old, accepted the assignment after being contacted by a friend of Amasifuén, who provided him with a photograph of the woman and her home address. At 7:00 a.m., Bolao entered the condominium and shot at the 47-year-old woman, who managed to survive the gunfire.
Following his capture in San Miguel, the hitman was also identified as wanted for a child pornography offense since August 2025. This case highlights the serious issue of contract killing in the country. As previously reported, the family conflict was the trigger for an act that could have ended in tragedy.
