A food delivery turned tragic in San Martín de Porres. Pablo Valdomar Vásquez Vílchez, a chicken delivery driver, was shot and killed while performing his duties in the Santa Rosa urbanization. The 29-year-old, originally from Cajamarca, worked at the El Doradito Chiken and was just days away from celebrating his birthday.
According to initial investigations by the National Police of Peru (PNP), Vásquez was intercepted by three men on two motorcycles. The assailants shot him multiple times, resulting in his instant death. At the crime scene, authorities found at least five bullet casings, indicating the violence of the attack. The area was cordoned off to facilitate the necessary investigations.
Family members of the victim have expressed their anguish and are demanding a swift investigation from the authorities to identify those responsible. One relative noted that Vásquez had no recent history of problems and owned a firearm, which he had acquired years ago with the appropriate license. His body was taken to the Central Morgue of Lima for the necessary procedures.
