Reniec Opens Special Service This Weekend: Find Out Which Locations Are Open in Lima and Regions

This weekend, the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) will open more than 30 locations across the country to facilitate the delivery of the National Identity Document (DNI) to citizens. This measure is being implemented in light of the 2026 General Elections, in which 27,356,578 Peruvians are eligible to vote.

Service will be available on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, from 8:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Citizens who have processed their DNI, either in person or online, can verify if their document is ready for pickup through the link provided by Reniec.

The open locations cover various regions, including Lima, Arequipa, Cajamarca, and Áncash. Some of the highlighted offices include the Registral Office of Lima, the Permanent Attention Point in Huancayo, and the Chulucanas Agency in Piura. For more details on the available offices, you can consult the complete list published by Reniec.

This effort aims to ensure that all citizens have their DNI before the elections, fulfilling an essential requirement to exercise their right to vote.
