Peru 2026 Elections: Check Your Voting Location and If You Are a Poll Worker

On Sunday, April 12, Peru will hold the 2026 General Elections, where citizens will elect the president, vice president, and representatives to Congress and the Andean Parliament for the 2026-2031 term. The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) has launched a digital platform for voters to check their voting location and verify if they will be serving as poll workers. To access this information, citizens must enter their ID number at the following link: consultaelectoral.onpe.gob.pe. This process is free and available from any device with internet access.

The polling stations will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. Additionally, those designated as poll workers will receive a payment of S/165, provided they fulfill their duties from the setup until the closing of the voting. The ONPE conducted the lottery for these positions on January 29, and the results are available on the same platform. It is crucial for citizens to inform themselves in advance to ensure their participation in this important electoral event.
