Áltica Denies Survey on López Aliaga: ‘It Was Not Prepared by Us’

Áltica, the Mexican polling firm, has denied the existence of a survey that places the presidential candidate of Renovación Popular, Rafael López Aliaga, with more than 20% of the voting intention for the 2026 elections. Through its official account on X (formerly Twitter), the company clarified that this study ‘HAS NOT been prepared, authorized, or disseminated’ by them.

In its statement, Áltica called on the media and the public to verify the authenticity of surveys, urging them to consult only their official channels. The polling firm emphasized that all information and results generated by their organization are published exclusively through their account on X and their website, which are considered the only valid and verifiable sources of their work.

Furthermore, Áltica stressed that it is unaware of the origin and methodology of the survey in question and disclaimed any responsibility regarding its content and dissemination. ‘We reaffirm our commitment to transparency and the responsible dissemination of information,’ they added.
