Trujillo TODAY: Explosive Detonated, M20 Furniture Store Destroyed Amid State of Emergency

A devastating explosion affected the facade of a furniture store belonging to the M20 company, located on Prolongación César Vallejo Avenue in the Víctor Larco district of Trujillo. The incident, which occurred on the morning of April 1, 2026, generated a loud bang that was heard in several areas of the city, alerting the authorities. This is the second attack with explosives the company has suffered in less than a week, as on March 27, its location on España Avenue was also the target of a similar attack.
