The former volleyball player made it clear her commitment to Géminis, despite her history with the blue and white club. “Today I am a coach, and my commitment is total to the team I lead,” she stated on her Facebook account.
The coach emphasized her professionalism and her desire to win, regardless of her fondness for Alianza Lima. “Every time I step onto the court, I do so with one objective: to win, no matter who is in front of me,” she declared. She also expressed gratitude to Alianza for her past but stressed that her current focus is on the present and the competition.
The match will take place on Sunday, April 5, at the Polideportivo Lucha Fuentes, located in Villa El Salvador, with a capacity of 6,000 spectators. In the first leg of the semifinal, Alianza Lima secured a 3-1 victory over Géminis, adding more pressure to the decisive encounter.
