He was transported to a hospital, where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but despite medical efforts, he could not recover and died on Sunday night.

He lived it.” The club highlighted his talent and the joy he brought to every match. The news has caused shock within the football community. Forward Radamel Falcao mourned the loss, remembering Castrillón as a teammate full of dreams and talent. The Colombian Football Federation also paid tribute to the young player, who had recently been called up to the U19 national team.
