Amidst journalist Magaly Medina’s criticism of Alejandra Baigorria regarding her project ‘Agarra tu gringa’, former employees of the businesswoman decided to share their work experiences alongside her. This project, which offers tickets for S/10 to participate in raffles for apartments, cars, and other prizes, has been questioned for its commercial focus, according to Medina.
The former collaborators shared testimonials on social media, highlighting how Baigorria positively impacted their lives. One of them, identified as Yuliana Ramos, stated that her life changed radically since she began working with the businesswoman eight years ago. “I went from living in a very different way to enjoying more opportunities,” she expressed, showing photos of her old home and her new life.
Other former employees echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the good treatment they received and expressing their gratitude, as thanks to their experience with Baigorria, they achieved economic stability and were able to start their own projects. This support contrasts with Medina’s criticisms, who argues that 1% of the profits from ‘Agarra tu gringa’ will be allocated to the creation of shelters for animals, suggesting a more lucrative than altruistic approach.
