The television host Magaly Medina has expressed her doubts regarding the authenticity of the new social project launched by Alejandra Baigorria, titled ‘Agarra tu gringa’. During her show ‘Magaly TV, la firme’, Medina questioned the true intention behind the initiative, suggesting that the entrepreneur might be seeking personal benefits rather than helping the community.
“Don’t sell me a social good project because you’re going to pocket a lot of money. We need to be honest about this,” Medina stated, implying that Baigorria would be the main beneficiary of the income generated from the raffles of cars, cell phones, and apartments.
The criticism from the popular ‘Urraca’ focused on the image of social aid that Baigorria is promoting, which she considers a facade for a personal business. The ‘Agarra tu gringa’ project involves selling tickets for 10.00 soles to participate in raffles, with a portion of the proceeds supposedly allocated to causes such as supporting animal shelters. However, Medina asserted that only a small percentage of the profits would actually go to these causes.
This new venture by Baigorria, registered under the company ‘Tu Gringa AB SAC’, has generated multiple reactions on social media.
