Former dancer Melanie Martínez is facing an investigation for alleged neglect of her daughter, following her participation in a podcast where the minor shared experiences about her relationship with her father, Christian Domínguez. The Special Protection Unit (UPE) initiated a complaint ex officio, considering that the exposure of the minor in the media is inappropriate.
The program ‘Q’Bochinche!’ reported the complaint, which arose after the teenager rejected Norka Ascue’s apologies regarding some audio clips broadcast on ‘Magaly TV, la firme’. The document from the UPE indicates that the case has been referred to the Municipal Defense Office for Children and Adolescents of Barranco due to risks of family neglect.
Domínguez’s lawyer clarified that the complaint was not requested by his client, who had previously sued Martínez for psychological violence and parental alienation. The minor has expressed that her estrangement from her father is not due to maternal influence, but rather personal experiences, and has criticized Domínguez’s lack of interest in her life compared to the children of his current partner, Karla Tarazona.
